In this quick tutorial I show the proper way to open onOne’s Perfect Photo Suite 8 from within Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 5, plus how you can use Perfect Photo Suite 8 to quickly and easily remove and replace a background in a photo.

I also show an easy way to keep your file sizes in check once you are finished with all of your edits. The files used in this demo were shot using a Canon 5D Mark II shooting in RAW mode. The RAW files were large to begin with (around 25 or 30 MB each) but after running them through Perfect Photo Suite and adding layers, effects, etc. the file sizes were exploding to nearly half a gig! In the demo I show a quick workaround that allows you to keep your finished edited file within the Lightroom catalog by converting the PSD into a DNG file.
